Hi everyone! It has been months since I blogged and I apologize. I am going to try to start blogging again.

Yesterday I went to Kissimmee, FL to look at a 1962 Pontiac Bonneville Hearse/Ambulance Combo. It was for sale and I bought it. I flew down to FL just for this reason. The car is in great shape and I plan on restoring it back to original (or at least part way). It was used by two FL funeral homes. The best part is that it has a light and original siren. I hope to have it shipped to WV very soon! It is going to make a great addition to our Halloween decorations this year!

Disneyland - Day 3

This was our third and final day at Disneyland. We made sure that we rode the couple of rides that we missed on the other two days and did repeats of 'favorite' rides. Here are the four shots from the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. Take note that for both of my scores I was ranked and nobody else was. I was able to get ranked at 31st best score of the day! He-he.

Today was also the day that we had as many characters as we could find sign the kid's shirts for a wearable souvenir. Jeanette bought some Disney Pirates of the Caribbean shirts from their Disney store at a great price (Thanks Jeanette!) and I read online where the characters will sign shirts if they are not being worn. I liked this idea because they get to see the signatures that they obtained more often than if they were in some dumb book.

Goofy was a blast. He really liked Michael since he had his Goofy hat on. He kept covering his face for the picture. Funny thing is, this is the same exact thing that Goofy did at the Magic Kingdom in FL. I guess Goofy is Goofy no matter where he is.

I really liked these two shots of the monorail and submarine ride.

In Tomorrowland they have the Jedi training academy which Becca was selected to be trained as a Padawan. Dan almost was selected but the Jedi master told us he was a bit too young.

They were trained to use their sabers to fight the Sith and Becca had to fight Darth Vader. I was a bit jealous and wanted to be fighting him myself but I was able to do something just as cool later in the day (see the last picture).

Here she is with her Jedi Padawan certificate.

Here is a night shot of Mainstreet right before the parade. Disneyland is such a fun place at night.

Here is my highlight of the trip. Jen went off after the parade to go to a shop in Tomorrowland to pick-up a toy that Sam really wanted as a souvenir while I went to the Photoshop on Mainstreet with Becca and Dan to get the Jedi Academy pictures downloaded to our Photopass. She came back and told me that I would never guess who they met. Of course I couldn't and then she told me that she met an employee at the store that played an Ewok in Star Wars Return of the Jedi. I freaked out and couldn't believe that she didn't call me. I am a bit of a Star Wars fan. I asked if she could take us all back to meet her and we did. Even though the store was closing because it was past the park closing hour, I was still able to get a picture. This is me and Margo Apostolos. She was the Ewok Tokkat, which was one of the Ewoks that carried C-3PO on the throne through the Ewok village. Great ending to a great day. Way cool!

Disneyland - Day 2

We decided for Day 2 that we would skip the 'scary' rides and focus on the fun rides. We thought that Dan deserved a break from freakin' him out on Day 1. With this in mind, we headed directly to Fantasyland first thing. We rode Alice in Wonderland and then headed to the teacups.

I personally do not like the teacups since my body cannot handle tight spinning. Dan doesn't like spinning either so he and I are teacup buddies!

After the teacups we headed to Dumbo.

I like how they handle the rider numbers at Disneyland better than at Magic Kingdom. Here at Disneyland they give you a wooden 'magic' feather instead of the colored card at MK. Much better effect.

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride is still one of our (Jen and myself) favorites. Sam is the only one of the four that enjoyed it. Later in the day, Sam and I went on it again with me while everyone else rode the carousel for a second time.

Everyone had to try to see if they were the rightful King of England. Unfortunately, no one was able to pull the sword from the stone. Looks like I need to keep my day job.

Casey Jr. was a fun ride. We were at the front of the line for our group which allowed our kids to pick the train car they wanted to ride in. They picked very appropriately.

After Casey Jr. it was time to hit ToonTown. Michael drove everyone into a mailbox.

We were able to meet Mickey (again). He seems to be everywhere, hmmmmm.

After ToonTown we headed to New Orleans Square to one of our (Jen and myself) favorite rides, the Haunted Mansion. Jen took my picture in front of the funeral carriage. This carriage was the actual carriage that was used for Brigham Young's funeral. It went up for auction years ago and Disney bought it because of the condition and white color. Great bit of Church history!

We then headed to Critter Country to see Pooh and Friends and to ride Splash Mountain.

Here is our picture as we are going over the big falls. They put this single lady in front which gave us quite a bit of front weight which means that I got soaked.

I love Dan and Becca's faces in this picture. This is one of Becca's favorite rides and not one of Dan's.
