Arizona Visit

This past February we were able to take a break from the long winter and travel to Arizona to visit family.  It was an awesome visit, full of great memories.

We were able to attend the Gilbert Temple Open House. It was great for the kids to be able to go through a temple before it was dedicated. What a wonderful opportunity.  Last time Jen and I did this was when the St. Louis Temple was finished in 1997.

Great group picture. Amazing that everyone is actually in the picture and looking at the camera. This was just outside the Gilbert Temple.

Great picture of the awesome ladies in our lives. This picture made me laugh because it was so sunny and hot, even the people behind us had an umbrella to keep off the sun. My boys were hiding in the shade so they wouldn't melt.

Line-up at the park in Mesa. Not by age but by height.

We finally understand where he has lived all these years, in the Phoenix Zoo.

Impossible to get a clear picture. The cousins spent a lot of quality time here on the tramp.

This is what I miss the most, picking fresh oranges from trees in the yard.

While in the SouthWest, we had the chance to eat at In-N-Out.  Great burgers but 5 Guys fries are still the best.

Jen thought this was great, getting a pic of Jeanette eating fast food. ;)

This was great.  I remembered a picture of when we had the cousins together back in 2000, so we had to get an updated picture of the same to with Jen in 2014. They both had to crouch down instead of being held.

It was such a great trip. Hopefully this can become a regular winter trip!
